Roadside Design Guide, 4th Edition
The guide contains the most current information and practices on roadside safety, and focuses on those safety treatments that minimize the likelihood of serious injuries when a driver inadvertently leaves the roadway. It covers topics such as economic evaluation, topography, drainage, supports, barriers, bridge railings, end treatments, traffic barriers and control devices, and mailboxes. This publication is available in print, as an online download, and as a Web-based publication that includes a number of enhanced features.

A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets, 6th Edition (the "Green Book")
The sixth edition of the AASHTO Green Book contains current design research and practices for highway and street geometric design. It provides guidance to highway engineers and designers on making unique design solutions that meet the needs of highway users while maintaining the integrity of the environment.

This guide is intended for use as a comprehensive reference to assist in administrative, planning, and educational efforts pertaining to design formulation. It is available in print, as an online download, and as a Web-based publication. The terms and concepts in the Green Book have been designed to coordinate with those in the Roadside Design Guide to create more cohesive designs of roadways and streets.

AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, Customary U.S. Units, 6th Edition
Scheduled for release in early March, the provisions in this book are intended for the design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of bridges. They are mandated by the Federal Highway Administration for all bridges using federal funding.

Specifications employ the Load and Resistance Factor Design methodology using factors developing from current statistical knowledge of loads and structural performance. This publication will be available in print or as an online download. The print version is currently available to pre-order on the AASHTO Bookstore at bit.ly/AASHTOLRFD6.
