National Workzone Awareness Week Video Released |

"Workzones Deserve Our Undivided Attention" is the slogan of this year's nationwide public awareness campaign for National Workzone Awareness Week.
AASHTO released this week a 30-second public service announcement to urge motorists to slow down through highway construction areas. The PSA was produced by AASHTO's Transportation TV and is available to watch and share on YouTube at tinyurl.com/AASHTO-WZvideo. This year's national kickoff ceremony is being sponsored by the New York City Department of Transportation. It will be held April 19 in Manhattan. National Workzone Awareness Week runs from April 19-23. AASHTO, the Federal Highway Administration, ARTBA, AGC of America, ATSSA, and transportation departments in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia are annual sponsors of the national safety campaign.
