One Week Remains to Submit Nomination for TRB's Young Member Award |

Those interested have one week left to nominate an individual for the first ever Transportation Research Board Outstanding Young Member Award. The award, handed out by TRB's Young Members Council (YMC) and sponsored by Stantec, Inc., was created to recognize exceptional young member service to TRB and achievements in transportation research, policy, or practice. YMC anticipates presenting this award each year at the TRB Annual Meeting to a member age 35 or younger (as of April 15 in the year of the award). The inaugural award will be presented in January at the 2013 Annual Meeting of TRB as part of the Thomas B. Deen Distinguished Lecture. The award recipient will receive a plaque and a cash award of $2,500. Candidates will be assessed based on:
