Transportation TV Checks in with Vermont Agency <br>of Transportation Secretary Brian Searles

This week, Transportation TV takes you to Vermont, one of the smallest states in America located in one of the country's most populated regions. In a new Two Minute State DOT Update, Vermont Agency of Transportation Secretary Brian Searles explains why his department is investing more than $60 million in passenger rail service.

"Ridership since the recession hit in 2008 has been climbing steadily every single year," Searles says. Passenger rail service is just one of the key issues addressed in the video.
